The ipsogen NPM1 MutaScreen Kit is intended for research use only and is not for use in diagnostic procedures. The kit is for real-time PCR on the Rotor-Gene Q and other real-time PCR instruments. Performance
To ensure accuracy, the ipsogen NPM1 MutaScreen Kit has been optimized to detect total NPM1 (wild-type and mutated), mutated NPM1, NPM1 mutations A, B, and D separately and uses DNA positive and negative controls for qualitative analysis (see figure "Reliable detection of wild-type and mutated NPM1").
Principle
The ipsogen NPM1 MutaScreen Kit is a ready-to-use kit for the detection and qualitative analysis of the mutational status of the NPM1 gene in genomic DNA (see figure "NPM1 alleles"). The kit provides reliable and reproducible results and enables detection and identification of NPM1 type A, B, and D mutations.
Procedure
The first step is extraction and determination of quality and quantity of genomic DNA. The second step is the amplification of DNA by real-time PCR. Using the ipsogen NPM1 MutaScreen Kit provides reliable detection and qualitative analysis of the mutational status of the NPM1 gene. Simply start the reaction using the optimized protocols described in the kit handbook.
