Product Details

ABL control gene transcript.

Reliable detection of ABL plasmid standards.

ABL standards (C1–C3): 10³,10⁴, and 10⁵copies/5 µl.

Accurate detection of Wilm’s tumor plasmid standards.

Wilm’s Tumor standards (P1–P5): 10¹, 10², 10³, 10⁵, and 10⁶ copies/5 µl.

WT1 gene transcript.

Performance

To ensure highest sensitivity, the ipsogen WT1 ProfileQuant Kit has been optimized to detect Wilm"s tumor (WT1) and ABL gene transcripts and uses prediluted plasmid standards and primers and probe mixes (see figuresAccurate detection of Wilm"s tumor plasmid standards and Reliable detection of ABL plasmid standards).

Principle

The ipsogen WT1 ProfileQuant Kit is a ready-to-use kit for the detection of Wilm"s tumor (WT1) gene transcripts using real-time PCR. The kit is based on the amplification and quantification of specific Wilm"s tumor (WT1) gene transcripts, relative to ABL control gene transcripts, in total RNA. The kit provides high levels of specificity, sensitivity, and reproducibility. The ipsogen WT1 ProfileQuant Kit includes specific plasmids and primers and probe mixes for WT1 and ABL (see figures WT1 gene transcript and ABL control gene transcript). Included are 5 standard dilutions for Wilm"s tumor and 3 standard dilutions for ABL. Use of the standards enables accurate quantification of transcripts. These components have been validated together in the context of a collaborative study led by a group of experts from the European Leukemia Net (ELN) consortium.

Procedure

The first step is reverse transcription of total RNA in a sample into cDNA. The second step is the amplification of cDNA by real-time PCR. Using the ipsogen WT1 ProfileQuant Kit allows detection and quantification of Wilm"s tumor (WT1) and ABL gene transcripts. Simply start the reaction using the optimized protocols described in the kit handbook.

The ipsogen WT1 ProfileQuant Kit enable sensitive and reliable detection and quantification of Wilm"s tumor (WT1) gene transcripts, relative to ABL control gene, for research use only.
