Performance
To ensure highest sensitivity, the ipsogen ETV6-RUNX1 Kit has been optimized to detect ETV6-RUNX1 fusion gene and ABL transcripts over a wide dynamic range (see figure "Sensitive detection of ETV6-RUNX1 and ABL standards").
Principle
The ipsogen ETV6-RUNX1 Kit is a ready-to-use kit for detection and quantification of ETV6-RUNX1 fusion gene transcripts using real-time PCR. The kit is based on the amplification and detection of specific ETV6-RUNX1 fusion gene transcripts, relative to ABL control gene expression in total RNA (see figures "ETV6-RUNX1 fusion gene transcript" and "ABL control gene transcript", and provides high levels of specificity, sensitivity, and reproducibility.Each ipsogen ETV6-RUNX1 Kit provides 3 standard dilutions for the ABL gene and 5 standard dilutions for the ETV6-RUNX1 fusion gene. Primers and probe sets are designed according to Europe Against Cancer (EAC) recommendations.
Procedure
The first step is reverse transcription of total RNA in a sample into cDNA. The second step is the amplification of cDNA by real-time PCR. Using the ipsogen ETV6-RUNX1 Kit allows detection and quantification of ETV6-RUNX1 fusion gene and ABL transcripts. Simply start the reaction using the optimized protocols described in the kit handbook.
